To complement my diverse creative efforts, I have created Pablo, a unique, breakdancing character. They have a happy-go-lucky attitude both on and off the dancefloor, and their love of Ska music is only eclipsed by the love of their friends. The inspiration specifically comes from the Squishmallow line of stuffed animals and the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. To create the model, I used Maya 3D and a simple polygon, which I then extruded and aligned the vertices to a reference image of the human body. I then further modified the model to add facial features, extra details, and any adjustments that needed to be made to ensure a realistic appearance. To achieve the breakdancing animation, I used Mixamo, an online tool, to animate the 3D model. I look forward to my future projects to further utilize my skillset.
